Hello people!
Remember the whole "year begins with april" thing? Well, that was accurate.
I`ve been working non stop on animations, storyboards, illustrations and comics, all of this heightened because the Montevideo Comics convention just turned 10 years old and I was featured in animation workshops, projections and published material!
First of all there´s Fantastiche, a small fantastic anthology comic book we self published with the talented

in a small run. We already run out of half so thanks for the support to everyone who bought it!

Then I premiered two web series that I`m uploading as we speak, one`s the new episodes of Fuerco: El Puerco de Fuego/Fig: The fire pig, a ultra short 4 episode animated series about a pig that gets some mutagenic fire powers and sets out for porcine justice.
You can watch Fuerco`s first two episodes here:
Episode One:

[link]I`ll let you know as soon as the new episodes are up!
The other web series I premiered is Made in Taiwan, a three episode mini web series that is a live action romantic comedy with a slight sci fi edge...yeah, I just went there XD
Watch the first episode here:
[link]I also premiered another comedy short film that is sort of...the ANTI Doctor Who (with all respect of course

) called QUANTUM CONSULTANT!!!
Watch it here:
[link]I also gave a japanese animation workshop which a friend of mine filmed so I might post it on my youtube channel as well.
If that wasn`t enough, I also photographed two friend`s Xena and Gabrielle cosplays in a shoot, so you will probably see those come up sometime. Went as far as editing and voice acting a background video for their presentation as well

The con was great, and had lots of other workshops before it.
Joe Kelly gave conferences and turned out to be a great and approachable fellah! It was extra interesting to hear his opinion on all he`s worked on. In case you were wondering who he is, he`s been the writer of Deadpool, X-men, Superman and one of the creators of Ben10 and Generator Rex, so he had plenty of tips and advice on many of the media.
Speaking of experienced, the astounding Azpiri, one of my artistic influences for decades came from Spain and shared his knowledge with us. He was kind enough to not only sign my CIMOC and Multi Aventura books, but to also draw me a free sketch just to show how awesome he was. I even got to buy original art from him! This "slave leia" original is going to my private collection

Robert Lence, story artist and writer who worked on some of the major and not so major animated features also passed by to share his story with us. Very encouraging and again, nice guy.
All those men are extremely polite, fun and humble. Truly inspirational.
There was wonderful women there too! Like Nacha Vollenweider and Lauri Fernandez who were kind enough to sketch, dedicate and sign my copy of "Vientre"!
I bought mostly independent comics but I came by some old issues I just couldn`t let go. Still tracking down the last issue of livewires though D:
BTW, have you guys read King City? You should. It´s gorgeous storytelling and art.
Oh, I got to see previews from my friend´s new movie! A FEATURE FILM COMEDY!!! Re locos y Re Pasados is the new film by writer/director Manuel Facal. We´ve come a long way from Romeo VS The lisergic killing muzzarella (
[link] ) but he still remembers and allowed me to have a tiny cameo on the film

Spending time with friends I hosted for made all the con even more special for me.
I was, however, extremely sleep deprived to meet the deadlines and make it in time to the class I had to give, so I slept some nice 12 hours today and just woke up

That reminds me...it`s 5 pm and no lunch yet! Gotta fix that...TAKE CARE, PEOPLE!
This is OP, ROLLIN OUT!!!
